The Van is a silly movie where this dude drives around smoking weed and trying to get laid in a tricked out van. It is surprisingly entertaining even though it is dumb. A friend of mine described it as an "anti-PSA". As I was watching it I kept noticing how the soundtrack was enhancing my experience. It is goofy and dumb, but it is also smooth country rock with some catchy hooks. The first track "Chevy Van" was some kind of minor hit before the movie existed and I speculate that the entire film was based around the song. In any event, Sammy Johns was hired to score the film and I present the result to you.
