One Man's Justice

aka One Tough Bastard

Holy cannoli! What a fine slice of bad action we have here. Brought to you by the same fine folks responsible for Stone Cold. We got MC Hammer as the boss of an LA drug ring, an 11 year old kid who "knows the streets" but makes a poor choice involving a key of base, a chain smoking FBI agent with two nose rings who is playing both sides, an ex con with a neck tattoo who can't seem to get it right, and an ex sergeant who just woke up from an 8 week coma to find out his wife and child have been murdered. And a production value high enough to make this a totally watchable film. How lucky we are that this is available in it's entirety on Youtube!

Uprise "She's Gone/What a Way to Go"

I must admit, this record was one of those holy grail things that make digging through piles of stinky shitty records occasionally worthwhile.  I don't even know how to begin describing this.  A child's dream of what rock and roll would sound like?  Bizarre production, saxophone soloing, digital fills.  It's all there, laying beneath beautiful poetry sung by the voice of an angel.

In reality, this is just a shitty record but I really love it and spend a lot of time trying to imagine exactly how this got created the way it did.  Maybe someone out there will understand the appeal...

I put the mp3s backwards because the B side is better than the A side.

As I started shaking, sweat dripped from my eyes

Hot new track.

I'm Going to Miss the Fun Times by Mike Zorman

Try to not bump this only through your laptop speakers.  Headphones or a real stereo will enhance your enjoyment, guaranteed.

I've got an itch only Gary Busey can scratch.

Eye of the Tiger (1986)

Let's see...  Bad racist sherrif, "motorcycle" gang, The Black Barron (A black dude flying one of those old timey planes where you are just sitting there getting bugs in your mouth), lots of in-cab shots of Gary Busey driving a tricked out truck.  It's a must watch!

So stoked these are online.

Werner Herzog's "Dark Glow of the Mountains"

This is definitely my second favorite piece of work from Werner Herzog, after The Ecstasy of The Woodcarver Steiner.  Watch it!

On another film related note, I've seen some amazing works lately from Mr. Gary Busey that I must recommend.

Hider in the House (1988)

Bulletproof (1989)
